Anybody can form an Australian company. You must however provide at least one director who is resident in Australia and a physical location (registered office address) for the business in Australia.
A company is a legal entity made of up directors, secretaries and shareholders. A director is someone responsible for
the day to day running of the company. A secretary is someone who is in charge of general company housekeeping duties
such as making sure returns are filed on time, notifying when addresses change etc. A shareholder is someone who owns
the company through holding shares.
Yes! You can now register a company electronically AND specify that it is to be the trustee of a super fund at the time of incorporation. This saves a lot of time and removes the need for completing extra forms. We also provide the special constitution with this company that contains the legally required provisions at no extra charge.
Our questionnaire will ask you a range of questions. It will ask you for the name of your new company, the names and
addresses of people involved (directors, secretaries, shareholders) and the official address for the company. If you find
you don't have the information at hand while you're forming the company, then you can save your progress and return to
it later.
Yes. Once the questionnaire is complete we'll give you some documents to be signed. These documents are for each
director, secretary and shareholder of the company. You'll need to print these documents off and have them signed by
the appropriate people. You do not need to post or lodge these documents anywhere. They are for you to keep with the
records of the company.
It will take approximately 10-20 minutes to complete our questionnaire (depending on the information you supply us). It will then
take roughly 10 minutes for us lodge the company for incorporation. This can take longer if there are any problems or discripencies with the information.
You will receive the official Certificate of Registration from the government via email and on our website. You will also receive the ACN (Australian Company Number).
The Certificate will come in .PDF format (Adobe Acrobat).
